- Why is this community not only in English?
Because we serve several countries in Central and East Europe. Our main focus in the early stage of our launch (2008) is to make sure we are serving Slovakia and the Czech Republic well.
- Which countries do you serve and where are you from?
We are hosting this community out of the Czech Republic in Europe, but the team is spread out all over the world, the core members sitting in Slovakia.
- Who are you - are you making a profit on this?
ITslaves is a not-for-profit, user driven community and all revenue generated through it is used to grow the community.
- I want to rank a company, but I can't - why?
Make sure you are logged in and that you have filled out your profile with the companies you have worked for. You can only rank companies you have worked for.
- The company I want to rank is not listed. What shall I do?
Enter the name of the company you want to rank, make your comments about the company and rank it. A team member will then enter that company into the ITslaves company database.
- My company ranking is not showing, why?
Because each ranking is manually inspected by the ITlsaves team to ensure it is not abusing our Terms of Use.
- What is the itslaves awarding system?
Registered users earning points for their activity on ITslaves and these can be exchanged for services and goods
- How can I earn points?
Points are earned automatically for the following activities:
1. Registration: 50p
2. Ranking (inserting feedback): 100p/ranking
3. Receiving a positive feedback on posting (ranking, forum, blog): 5p
4. Posting in forum: 10p/new post, 5p/reply to a post
5. Writing a blog: 25p/post- Where are my points displayed?
Your points are displayed in Forum underneath your avatar and in your ITslaves account (My space). In your account you see your earned points, used points and the balance. Users with the most points are displayed on ITslaves home page in “Top 5 Slaves” list.
- What levels can I reach?
Newborn: 50 – 299p
Explorer: 300 – 499p
Rebel: 500 – 999p
Commander: 1000 – 1499p
Master: more than 1500p- What can I do with my points?
You can exchange them for the following slave prizes:
ITslaves T-shirt – 200p
Yearly subscription to an IT magazine* – up to EUR 50,- – 500p
Computer accessories (hardware, soft)* up to EUR 100,- – 1000p
IT/Programming course* up to EUR 100,- – 1000p
Airplane tickets* up to EUR 200,- – 2000p

General: The Awarding system is powered by Ruby Resourcing s.r.o. Stefanikova 22, 811 04 Bratislava (Thereinafter „Organizer“). All prizes have to be picked/used at latest one calendar year from exchanging the points.
It is not possible to exchange the prizes for cash or to require any other prizes than listed by the Organizer. There is no legal right to any of the prizes. Handover of the prize is conditioned by signing a handover protocol.ITslaves team members can participate in contests but they are not allowed to claim any prizes or exchange the collected points.
